Welcome to my site!

I'm James Houser, born in North Carolina and raised in Virginia. I have a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech and a Master's in Military History from Norwich University.

 

I have recently transitioned from 10 years on Active Duty as an M1 Abrams tanker to the Wisconsin Army National Guard. I am currently a legal assistant at Nicolet Law in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In addition, I am pursuing my ambition of military leadership through the WI National Guard's Officer Candidate School.

 

I'm happily married and I like beer, reading, running, and tabletop games. Currently reside in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

My short-term goals are to graduate Officer Candidate School; my long-term goal is to publish my first book.
